When we define that a cause of one of the tools used is the root cause, we can classify it to consolidate the data and assist in decision making.
In the occurrence module click on the Cause classification tab.

You must have permission to Manage cause types, categories and classifications.

To add a new cause classification, click .

The window to register a new cause classification will be displayed, fill in the data:

  • Title: Enter the name of the cause classification that will be registered.
  • Description: If a description of the cause classification is necessary, enter it in this field.

Fields with * are mandatory.

After filling in the data click on  to complete the registration.

If it has a cause of occurrence classification that will no longer be used, we can inactivate it.

You must have permission to Manage cause types, categories and classifications.

In the occurrence module click on the Cause Classification tab.

In the cause classification that will be inactivated click on the context menu and select the Inactivate option.

The cause classification will be inactivated.
To find inactive cause classifications use the filter .

Classifications of inactive causes are no longer displayed in the list for selection, occurrences using this classification are unchanged.
