What is the difference between version management and flow review? https://wiki.qualiex.com/modules/flow-en/what-is-the-difference-between-version-management-and-flow-review/ Mon, 27 Sep 2021 19:17:27 +0000 https://wiki.qualiex.com/?post_type=docs&p=2456

Atualizado em

In the Flow module we have the versions and revisions of the flow, we will understand these features better.

Version management

Version management is a control for reusing drawings that were saved during a flow elaboration.
This version history is maintained only while we are in the elaboration stage, making the flow design, after submitting for evaluation it is no longer possible to access these versions.
So, if it is necessary to resume a previous version of the drawing, we can restore that version.

Flow review

The flow review is used when we have an approved flow and it undergoes changes, to update it it is necessary to generate a new review.
The revision number of the flow is identified in the code.
The issuer or the person in charge can generate a new revision of the flow.

When we are in design mode with the flow in progress and we save the changes, the versions are stored allowing the restoration of those changes that have already been made, the versions can be restored only during this elaboration. After sent for evaluation, these versions are not available.
In drawing mode , click the context menu, click View and select the Versions option.ccc

Only the issuer or person responsible for the flow can access the drawing mode and use the versions.

When enabling the Versions option, the list with available versions will be displayed.
Click on the context menu to display the options:

  • View: Click to see the drawing of the corresponding version.
  • Restore version: Select to restore the version for the stored drawing.

After restoring, the drawing corresponding to the restored version will be displayed.

After sending the flow for evaluation, the versions are eliminated.
