If a document is made in LibreOffice when it is sent to Docs in compatible format when viewing or printing in word and excel, that document is displayed misformatted.
In such cases it is recommended that a PDF version of the file be added, so when viewing or printing the PDF version will be used.

Sending a Document

The file must be in PDF format.

When sending a document to check in, we can add the pdf file. Click  and select the file to be sent.

Add the PDF of a revision

Add a .pdf file for a revision by accessing the document’s details.
In the document details on the Reviews tab, add a .pdf version of the file.

The documents in Docs can be printed online, without the need to download on your computer.
We can print with the watermark Controlled, Uncontrolled or unidentified copy.

Printing permission required. Set this up in the folder options and in the document .

  1. Go to Dashboard.
  2. Click on Docs – Documents.

3. Click on the “Documents” tab.

4. Select the document to be printed. Click the Options icon > ” Print”.

The screen for selecting the desired printing option will appear.

Justifying the impression

If the document is of a classification that has the justification for printing option enabled , the field to fill the reason for printing will be displayed when printing a document.

For units that have the option Password confirmation for critical operations enabled in Qualiex security options, it will be necessary to inform the password to print a document.

ID controlled copy printing

For units that have the item Password confirmation in critical operations enabled in the Qualiex security options when printing a controlled copy, the document identification ID is displayed for consultation of the data in the Qualiex Consulta portal.

To display the ID the document must have a PDF version, see in the articles below how to insert the PDF in the document.

In Docs, in addition to allowing access to print documents in folders, you may grant access to a specific document. By doing this, the user is limited to just printing the document he needs.

  1. Go to Dashboard.
  2. Click on Docs – Documents.

3. Click on the “Documents” tab and select the desired document.

4. Click Options> “Print Permissions”.

The options for granting access to the selected document will be displayed.

  • Locate users by the group registered in the Qualiex settings.
  • The document defaults to the folder permissions. To enable document permissions, check the option “Do not inherit folder permission” .

Enable the options that you want the user to have access to and click ” Save” to finish.
